2 Timothy 4:3-4

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

 

The Father did love all sinners before they repented.

John 3:16

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

 

John 1:7

Jesus did die for the whole world.

The Holy Spirit does call people to salvation but only some are chosen because only some respond to His call with obedient faith, repentance, confession, and loving surrender.

Matthew 23:37

Believing on Christ, and receiving Christ is essential to becoming a child of God.

 

John 3:36

36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
