6/15/09 HE IS ALL IN ALL

He (God) is all we need. Consider these few thoughts from the New Testament, study the context for more gems of truth and then go on your own hunt to find "He is," treasures in the Scriptures.

HE IS kind to the unthankful and evil;

Luke 6:35

(35) But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

HE IS our peace;

Ephesians 2:13-14

(13) But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

(14) For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

HE IS able to keep us;

2 Timothy 1:12

(12) For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

HE IS able to aid us;

Hebrews 2:18

(18) For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour (aid, relieve) them that are tempted.

HE IS able to save to the uttermost;

Hebrews 7:25

(25) Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

HE IS faithful;

Hebrews 10:23

(23) Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

HE IS a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him;

Hebrews 11:6

(6) But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

HE IS our wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption.

1 Corinthians 1:30-31

(30) But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

(31) That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

In our relationship with others, HE IS all and in all.

1 Corinthians 15:28

(28) And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
