06/04/22 THE GLORY AND THE SHAME
Everything (cosmic or microscopic, conceptual or physical), willingly obeys God, except for fallen men and demons.
Even this is ruled by God, in the sense that God gave man freedom of will to choose life or death, truth or deception, righteousness or wickedness, light or darkness, submission or rebellion.
This is both the glory and the shame of man. It is glory in the sense that God gave man unique power and authority, to make personal choices; it is shame because the choice to disobey God incurs the displeasure, judgement and wrath of God.
In making this decision, man chooses his eternal destiny, but man cannot choose selfishness and expect eternal life with God.
