Some songs remind me that I was not raised in a Christian home. Still, God sought and saved me, as a child.
God saw my sinful, lost condition and His love reached past my separation and extended His great mercy and glorious grace. What adds to my amazement is that His call reached a three year old, untaught, child, that was basically without gospel truth, saved me and called me to preach the gospel.
The lyrics to Precious Memories, referring to a Christian family, praying mother and father are not my memories, but God loved me, called me to salvation, saved me, indwelt me, drew me near to Himself.
The song, Will The Circle Be Unbroken is a blessing, but it does not reflect my childhood. Yet He took me into His family and allowed me to witness to my mama and daddy as the years passed.
Did I mention, WOOOOO? Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised.
