08/02/22 PREPARING FOR AND ADAPTING TO CHANGE
All 5 short notes on this post. Please read.

Individuals, congregations and denominations are going through great theological, faith, Biblical, moral upheaval these days, and it is going to get worse. It is urgent and incumbent to make a change, a radical change. This change is for your own spiritual well being, for the well being of your family, for your friends, for your community, for those who you are hoping to lead to salvation and a faithful walk with Christ.
I understand the personal attachments to a local church and a denomination, and I understand the possibility that your pastor may be doing a good job at holding the line, BUT, you need to take steps in these terrible days.

I tell people, if their pastor IS NOT preaching the Bible, and nothing but the Bible, in the love of Christ and with the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, then they need to find another way to be part of a local church that is faithful to the word. There is no "perfect" church, but it better be a Bible believing, Christ exalting, Spirit led church, starting with pastoral preaching, teaching, counsel and leadership.

If your local church is part of a denomination that is rejecting Biblical practices and beliefs, you need to "come out from them and be separate."
This will cause you to lose years of family relationships, friendships, investments of time, money, energy, but it is better than losing your soul, your ministry, your value in the kingdom of God.

You need a solid, Bible believing, preaching, Christ following church relationship. If it comes down to it, you do not need a denominational connection. Fellowship, association, interaction with other believers outside of your local body can be very good, but a formal, organizational relationship with a denomination is not essential to serving and following God (in fact, it is likely more detrimental than helpful).

You need to find a strong, Bible preaching, local church now. It may not be geographically convenient, but think about it, we make choices for health, medical care, finances, climate, education, recreation, friends, family, cultural benefits REGARDLESS of the geography or distance to travel. I do realize it is not always possible to make a geographical change, but God provides various ways for us to meet our various needs.
There are good, qualified men in pastoral ministry. Find one for your spiritual, ministry needs. It is essential that you have a pastor, whom you can actually know and with whom you can communicate personally.
MAYBE I CAN HELP
I pastor a local church in the Down East area. We have In Person meetings in homes, net houses, out buildings and wherever God leads, and I have an online presence with preaching and teaching. God led me back to Carteret County to be available for ministry from Cedar Island to Swansboro to Newport.
I do ministry, not industry.
I can't promise how I will try to help you, if you are interested, but I will seek God. It could be possible for me and Martha (my wife) to travel to your area, to introduce ourselves, explain our beliefs, set up a home meeting with you and your family and your friends. I will also try to help those who do not live locally, as the Lord leads.
This is a strange post. However, these are strange times. Let me know if you are interested in talking. I will try to accommodate.
