09/13/22 THE PATH TO REBELLION

God commands us to be watchful, careful.
God warns us to keep our hearts from being deceived.
Because being deceived will turn our hearts aside from God and His way and turning aside from God and His way will result in serving and worshiping other gods.

Failure to watch and guard out hearts from deception, resulting in turning to aside from God and His way, and serving and worshiping other gods, WILL KINDLE THE WRATH OF GOD AGAINST YOU (as an individual, and you as a people or nation).

Deuteronomy 11:16-17
(16) Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;
(17) And then the LORD'S wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD giveth you...
