06/11/22 BE BIBLICAL
Which is a Divine revelation, comment, truth?
(if you feel you must "explain" why your answer is right, though it is not Biblically stated, maybe your answer is not God's word)
1-
Go and sin no more.
or
Go and try not to sin.
or
Go and sin as little as you can.
or
Go and sin, but don't worry about it; God's got you covered.
2-
Be ye pure (holy, righteous), even as He is.
or
Be ye informed, God commands purity (holiness, righteousness) but He does not make it possible for you to obey Him.
or
Be ye comforted, God does not require purity (holiness, righteousness), in spite of what the Bible "seems" to say.
3-
He that commits sin is of the devil.
or
He that does not commit sin is of the devil.
or
He that commits sin is of God.
4-
He that does righteousness is of God.
or
He that does not do righteousness is of God.
or
He that does righteousness is of the devil.
5-
We can walk in the light, even as Christ is in the light, and the blood of Christ will cleanse us from all sin.
or
We cannot walk in the light, even as Christ is in the light.
or
We can walk outside of the light and still be cleansed from all sin.
or
We cannot actually be cleansed from all sin.
6-
We can keep His commands and do that which is pleasing in His sight.
or
We cannot keep His commands and do that which is pleasing in His sight.
or
We are seen as keeping His commands and doing that which is pleasing in His sight, though we are not really keeping His commands and doing that which is pleasing in His sight.
The Bible is filled with statements that are being twisted and turned against the nature, will, work of God. Be careful to read and heed that which God actually says.
2 Corinthians 4:1-6
(1) Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
(2) But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
(3) But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
(4) In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
(5) For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
(6) For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
