11/25/22 GOD REQUIRES AND ENABLES TRUE RIGHTEOUSNESS

Faith, true Biblical, saving faith is confidence in Christ alone for salvation and total rejection of confidence in everything and everyone else, including self, works of the flesh, knowledge, education, culture, talents, personality.

However, Biblical faith, saving faith is "the works of God." Flowing from this faith there is a life of righteousness and righteous deeds, which are not to be confused with works of the flesh.

It is right to experience and acknowledge personal righteousness, springing from a faith relationship with Christ, and it is wrong to think that Biblical faith does not deliver from sin and unrighteousness or that it sanctifies self will, self righteousness, self promotion.
